22 October 2026
Racura Oncology Ltd (“Racura” or the “Company”) is pleased to release its Q1 FY2027 report for the period
ending 30 September 2026. The Company’s cash and cash equivalents totalled $30.7 million at the end
of the quarter, with 80% of spending ($2.46m) directed toward research and development (R&D) and drug
manufacturing activities. A strong cash balance places Racura in an excellent position to fund all committed
activities into mid-CY2028.
During the quarter, Racura continued to make significant progress across its clinical programs. In July,
Racura expanded the HARNESS-1 lung cancer trial through additional ethics approvals, enabling the
activation of new Australian clinical trial sites, and reported positive initial safety data from the first patient
treated with RC220 in combination with osimertinib. The Company also received international recognition
for its Cardioprotection and Anticancer Synergy (CPACS) program through acceptance for presentation at
the Global Cardio-Oncology Summit. In September, Racura expanded the global footprint of the CPACS
trial through the activation of clinical trial sites in South Korea, while new preclinical data further validating
the ability of RC220 to inhibit MYC gene transcription were accepted for presentation at the Frontiers in
Cancer Science Conference in Singapore.
Management commentary
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Dr Daniel Tillett commented: “We have made solid progress
with our clinical programs with both the Phase 1 HARNESS-1 and CPACS trials clearing their first dose
cohorts without any dose-limiting toxicities. With the expansion of CPACS into South Korea and $30.7 million
in cash, Racura is well funded to continue advancing RC220 into mid-CY2028.”

Key events of the quarter
On 3 July 2026, Racura announced that Bellberry Human Research Ethics Committee had
approved the HARNESS-1 lung cancer clinical trial, enabling additional Australian clinical trial sites
to participate in the study. Following this approval, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Austin Health
progressed to governance and start-up activities, supporting increased patient recruitment and the
continued evaluation of RC220 in combination with osimertinib for patients with EGFR-mutated
non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
On 9 July 2026, Racura announced that its CPACS Phase 1 trial had been selected for presentation
at the 2026 Global Cardio-Oncology Summit in the United States. The presentation will provide an
update on the ongoing evaluation of RC220 in combination with doxorubicin in patients with
advanced solid tumours and highlight growing international interest in the program’s potential
cardioprotective and anticancer benefits.
On 29 July 2026, Racura announced that the first patient treated with RC220 and osimertinib in
the HARNESS-1 trial had completed safety review with no dose-limiting toxicities or treatment-
related safety concerns identified during the safety observation period. The independent Safety
Review Committee recommended continuation of the trial and enrolment of an additional patient
at the same dose level before further dose escalation.
On 11 August 2026, Racura received a further $117,875 R&D Tax Incentive refund from the
Australian Taxation Office for $243,041 of eligible overseas R&D activities undertaken during the
financial year ended 30 June 2025 (FY2025). This additional refund brings the Company’s total
FY2025 R&D Tax Incentive refund to $2,905,348 following the earlier refund of $2,787,473 for
eligible Australian R&D activities in FY2025 (ASX announcement: 27 Nov 2025).
On 1 September 2026, Racura announced the activation of its first South Korean clinical trial site
for the CPACS Phase 1 trial evaluating RC220 in combination with doxorubicin in patients with
advanced solid tumours. Additional Korean sites were scheduled to open shortly thereafter, with
the expanded site network expected to accelerate patient recruitment and trial progress.
On 8 September 2026, Racura announced that new preclinical data supporting the G4-binding
mechanism of action of (E,E)-bisantrene and inhibition of MYC gene transcription had been
accepted for presentation at the 2026 Frontiers in Cancer Science Conference in Singapore. The
findings further support the scientific rationale for RC220 and its ongoing clinical development
across the Company’s EMILI, HARNESS and CPACS programs.
Other news from the quarter
Dr Rodney Cusack and Dr Feroz Ahmad attended the Thoracic Oncology Group of Australasia
Annual Scientific Meeting in Melbourne from 15–17 July 2026. The meeting provided an

opportunity to engage with clinicians, researchers and industry stakeholders and discuss
developments relevant to the HARNESS-1 program.
Vanessa Neve and Shinam Garg joined Racura as Clinical Project Managers, focusing on the
HARNESS-1 and EMILI trials, respectively. Both bring extensive experience in clinical trial
operations, project management, site oversight and study execution, and both have already made
valuable contributions to advancing the Company’s clinical development programs.
Dr Chris Goon joined Racura as Associate Medical Director, bringing extensive experience in clinical
medicine, oncology drug development and the management of clinical trials. Dr Goon will support
the ongoing advancement of clinical development programs and contribute to the Company’s clinical
and medical strategy.
Post-quarter news
On 5 October 2026, Racura announced that its Annual General Meeting will be held on 23 November
2026 from 11AM–12PM at the State Library of New South Wales.
On 7 October 2026, Racura presented clinical progress from the ongoing CPACS Phase 1 trial at the
2026 Global Cardio-Oncology Summit in Virginia, USA. The presentation highlighted successful
completion of the first dose cohort with no dose-limiting toxicities observed and confirmed
progression to the next RC220 dose level, with patient enrolment continuing across Australia, Hong
Kong and South Korea.
On 12 October 2026, Racura announced that the Safety Review Committee had cleared the Phase 1
HARNESS-1 trial to escalate RC220 to the next planned dose level of 100 mg/m² following a review
of safety data from Cohort 1. No dose-limiting toxicities or treatment-related safety concerns were
identified in either patient treated at the 50 mg/m² dose level, supporting continued evaluation of
RC220 in combination with osimertinib for patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC.

About Racura Oncology
Racura Oncology (ASX: RAC) is a Phase 2b/3 clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company with a mission to
silence cancer.
The Company’s lead asset, (E,E)-bisantrene, is a small-molecule anticancer agent that binds G4-DNA and
RNA structures and potently inhibits MYC gene expression, a key cancer target dysregulated in up to 70%
of cancers. Bisantrene has a long history of demonstrated therapeutic activity in cancer patients with a
well-characterised safety profile. Recent discoveries have supported composition-of-matter and other
patent filings that, if granted, could provide up to 20 years of protection for (E,E)-bisantrene.
Racura is advancing a proprietary formulation of (E,E)-bisantrene (RC220) to address the high unmet
needs of patients across multiple oncology indications, with a Phase 2b/3 pivotal clinical program in acute
myeloid leukaemia (AML), a Phase 1a/b program in mutant epidermal growth factor receptor non-small
cell lung cancer (EGFRm NSCLC), and a Phase 1a/b program in combination with the anthracycline
doxorubicin, where we aim to deliver both cardioprotection and enhanced anticancer activity for patients
with solid tumours.
Racura has collaborated with Astex, Emory University, Purdue University, MD Anderson, Sheba City of
Health, UNC School of Medicine, University of Wollongong, and University of Newcastle. Racura is actively
exploring partnerships, licence agreements, or a commercial merger and acquisition to accelerate access
to RC220 for patients with cancer across the world. Learn more at www.racuraoncology.com.
